Moscow Museum of Modern Art presents an exhibition of Sergei Shutov «Necessary and optional»

Sergei Shutov (b. 1955, Potsdam) - is extremely versatile and inventive artist. Shutov was one of the organizers of «Art-Rock-Parada ACCA» in DC MELZ - exhibitions devoted to the premiere of the film, which has become an important gathering of avant-garde art and rock music. Personal exhibition Sergei Shutov «Necessary and optional» in the Moscow Museum of Modern Art in Ermolaevsky Lane will be the first museum retrospective artist. It will show the work of different years - old and new, well-known and never exhibited. For the first time, showing the general public almost 30 years ago, connecting them with new projects, Sergei Shutov essentially decided to abandon support of curators, and took on the responsibility themselves to build their own drama megavystavki. The exhibition will be presented to the majority of video Shutova and multimedia installations. Consecutive demonstration video will be arranged early in the movie theater on the first floor of the museum. To be reinstated one of the first interactive multimedia installations in modern Russian art - «sensual experience» (1992).
