Today in Moscow Gallery «Art Prima» opens exhibition of paintings Arkady Alexandrovich Plastov «Russian genius of the century»

Today, the Moscow Art Gallery opens exhibition Prima Popular Artist of USSR, member of the Academy of Arts USSR Arkady Alexandrovich Plastov «Genius Russian Century ».

On display are more than 50 paintings from the collection of the museum's galleries, artist's family and private collections. Among them are recognized masterpieces of realistic painting «Fascists flying» (1971) - the author's version of the painting in 1944, preserved in the Russian Museum, «Traktoristki» (1943-1944), «Saturday» (1943-1944), and unknown even to specialists pictures «Troika . (Kids in the river) »(1937),« A Night in Zelenovke »(1946-1947).

Plastov life wrote his native Prislonihu. How old would say, he opened the «genius of place». But his work does not trace provinciality. On the contrary, every indication of the fullness of true education, the depth and diversity of knowledge of the art world.
