May 16 at the Art Museum (Kunstmuseum) the city of Vaduz, capital of Liechtenstein, opened an exhibition «Malevich and his influence on other artists». This exhibition features many first-class work Kazimir Malevich , starting from the very first Suprematist paintings.

Malevich announced the creation of new artistic philosophy - Suprematism - in 1915. Suprematist works, which are images of geometric figures of pure colors, were among the first in Europe, samples of non-creativity. His geometric abstractions Malevich is the highest level of art, as in the dismissal of objective reality, ceases to be secondary in relation to it. According to the artist, Suprematist creativity in equal rights, and God the creator. Malevich's ideas have been very tempting, and the artist has many followers in Russia and abroad. But Malevich's art and those who developed his ideas of abstraction is not limited. In mature years, the father of Suprematism back to figurative art. His later works, especially vizionersky «Farm» cycle, also inspired many artists.

The exhibition presents a lot of famous paintings, most of which are taken out from the Russian museums. The jewel, of course, was the «black box». In Vaduz, you can also see the work of those for whom the ideas of Malevich became close and have a new creative impulse, namely Gustav Klutsisa , Эля Lisitsky , Lyubov Popova , Alexander Rodchenko , Varvara Stepanova . Besides these, there are exhibited works by European and followers of Malevich. Unfortunately, the great Russian abstraktsionist almost did not meet with their Western counterparts. In 1927 he went to Poland and Germany, where they visited the prestigious Bauhaus school and met with his teachers by Walter Gropius and Laszlo Mohoy-Nadem. But the artist soon led back to the Soviet Union and no longer produced.

In the Art Museum hosts various events associated with the work of Malevich: lectures, movie screenings and even musical performances. The exhibition has already shown some early masterpieces of abstract cinema, including «Diagonal Symphony» masters of abstract cinema Viking Eggelinga, «anemic cinema» famous provocateur Marcel Duchamp and «Mechanical Ballet» Fernand Leger. August 21, the museum will show a film by Sergei Eisenstein «Battleship Potemkin». July 4 at the exhibition was very amusing event: a concert girl group Chicks on Speed called «Malevich Rules!» ( «Malevitch burns !»).
