Rare books, autographs, samizdat and unofficial art April 10, in the "Antiquarium"

head to the auction No. 54 "Rare and valuable books. Joseph Brodsky, Sergei Dovlatov and their surroundings. Literature and art of the Bronze age" auction house "Antiquarium" conducts the 10th of April. Auction start at 19:00. Auction will be held at: Moscow, Sadovaya-Кудринская, 25, "Antique center", auction house "Antiquarium".

In the auction catalog assembled:

— Unico of the eighteenth century and the legendary "Byzantine enamel";

— autographs Leonid Andreev, Konstantin Balmont, Nina Berberova, Joseph Brodsky, Sergei Dovlatov, Eugene Reyna, Dmitry Bobyshev, and Anatoly Naiman, Genrikh Sapgir, Alexei Khvostenko;

— paintings and drawings by Valentina Khodasevich, Dmitry Mitrokhin, Anatoly slepysheva, Oleg Grigoriev, Gleb Bogomolov Genrikh Khudyakov, vahrich of Bahchanyana, Vyacheslav Sysoev, artists arefevsky circle and the "Mitki";

— samizdat manuscripts of representatives of unofficial culture Ilya Kabakov, Dmitry Prigov, Lev Rubinstein, Viktor Krivulin, Olga Sedakova, Tatiana Shcherbina, Ry Nikonova, Viktor Tsoi, Boris Grebenshikov.

In the opening auction the section "Rare books" are the real handwritten ones of the XVIII century: "Armoloy"" (1765) and one of the first lists of the tragedy of Alexander Sumarokov "semira". Here is exhibited a convolute historical documents (1783-1843), including — the manifest of Alexander I of times of Patriotic war of 1812; real typographic masterpiece "History and monuments of Byzantine enamel: From the collection of A. V. Zvenigorodsky" (1892).

Among the publications of the Silver age the organizers of the trade mark the debut collection of poems by Konstantin Lipskerov "Sand and roses" (1916) with dedicatory inscription by the author addressed to Lilya and Osip Brik, "the Sun" by Vladimir Mayakovsky, illustrated by Mikhail Larionov (1923), "the Snow mask" by Alexander Blok (1907), and four stilografiche collection of "Tournament of poets" with the autograph of the compiler of Alexei Kruchenykh (1928-1934).

In the "St. Petersburg collection" — letter by Leonid Andreyev (1909) and writing Konstantin Balmont (1910-е), lifetime sculptural portrait of Anna Akhmatova, made her friend the hostess Tatiana Silman.

the trial of a novice poet and future eminent writer preserved in the archive of a classmate of Sergei Dovlatov. Children's and youth's poems and letters allow us to understand how to configure the features of the author's style and determined personality of the writer.

a Unique archive of a close friend of Sergei Dovlatov and Brodsky Ludmila Shtern largely — mirror of Russian culture of the twentieth century. Most "early" items associated with the figure of the mother, actress Hope Frogland-Крамовой and her friends, Viktor Shklovsky, Sergei Yutkevich, Sergei Eisenstein, Friedrich Ermler. From the "good friend" of Sergei Dovlatov in the archives a few books with dedicatory of the author and a letter containing sarcastic characterization of the emigrant literary circles.

the Bronze age — informal culture 1950-80-х years — appears in the catalog as a kind of dialogue of traditions of Moscow and Leningrad and their key figures. "Order of mendicant painters" formed by the artists Alexander by Arefieva, Richard Vasmi, Vladimir Aginam, Shalom Schwartz, Rodion Gudzenko, was, in fact, the first informal art Association era. In the collection — paintings and graphic works of Arefieva, as well as manuscripts of the poet Roald Mandelstam, including software autograph of the poem "the Scarlet streetcar".
