Martin Kippenberger (1953-1997)

Four works of Martin Kippenberger are five of the most expensive work of contemporary German artists in the first half of this year. First place ranking is the Flying Tango, "which was sold in February at the London auction Christie's for 3.5 million dollars. Kippenberger died in 1997 at the age of 44, leaving a solid collection of works.
