He now has nine exhibition spaces - plus a shop on New York's Madison Avenue and an office in Hong Kong. Gagosian - the dealer that represents only the top artists, these "heavyweights" (which to him made known and popular other gallery owners). This spring, for example, one of the Gagosian gallery showing of Monet, the other - Roy Lichtenstein, the third - Richard Prince, the fourth - famed French artist Tatiana Truve ... In summer the Gagosian Gallery in London held an exhibition devoted to Pablo Picasso Mediterranean period.

Of the artists turned out to be the most influential Chinese Ai Weiwei (Ai Weiwei) , who took 13th place. For Aya art is inseparable from politics: one of his most famous projects, "Names of Sichuan Earthquake" (dedicated to disclosing the names of children - victims of terrible disasters), cost him his confrontation with the Chinese authorities, almost ending the worst way. The last time the artist was in news for its installation in the Turbine Hall of London museum Tate Modern. Work is worth of 100 million "sunflower seeds" (the basis of the diet of the peasants during the "Great Leap Forward"), made from the most that neither is a traditional Chinese material - porcelain. Hay wanted visitors walked through the "seed", but then it turned out that the dust raised by them is dangerous for health. Installation, fortunately, is not removed, but now you can only admire it from above. Information on a note to investors: according to research firm ArtTactic, in Aya is the highest among Chinese artists chances to become the "longevity" of the art market.
