The Geneva gallery Artvera, specializing in works of European and Russian artists of the late XIX - early XX century, opened a retrospective exhibition of Serge Sarsuns (Serge Charchoune). On display are 80 paintings, with twelve of them on display for over 25 years.
«Despite the fact that Serge Sarsuns received solo exhibitions at such prestigious institutions like the Pompidou Center Paris (1971), Pushkin Museum of Fine Moscow (2006) and the Russian Museum in St. Petersburg (2006), his work still deserves more attention, "- noted art critic Komarova Sofia (Sofia Komarova), lead gallery Artvera. That is why the exhibition organizers have tried to collect as much as possible the work of each period, so that viewers could receive as much as possible a fuller and deeper understanding of the work of this great master.
