A characteristic feature of the creative artist is a constant dialogue between painting, drawing and sculpture, between the surface and three-dimensional objects that come together in complex relationships, allowing for the ambiguity of interpretations. This kind of point of connection of poetic thoughts and technical strategies of the author. The system of oppositions plays an important role in her creative activity as a matrix of memory and a source of future artistic decisions. Multiple variations of the same iconographic themes - square, cube, cross, and their various transformations - are its working methods. Paintings and graphic works, often in the technique of collage, presented as a diptych and triptych. In his sculptural compositions, she uses both traditional and industrial materials - polyester, plexiglass, iron, steel, often treated to a mirror finish, aluminum, lead, toned wood, bronze, marble, with a pronounced granular structure, and with traces of the geological layers.

Faust Skuatriti was born in Milan in 1941. She soon established itself in the art world. In 1960, when she was still a student at the Academy of Fine Arts, Brera, in Milan Gallery held her solo exhibition, and in 1964 she was awarded the San Fedele, the only time award, intended for young artists and also rarely awarded artist-woman. For personal exhibition was followed by another - in New York. Later, she put a series of large geometric sculptures made of metal and polished stainless steel in Tel Aviv.

After a series of successful shows in galleries and museums in Latin America, Skuatriti received international recognition. For twenty years Skuatriti teaches painting and graphic disciplines relating to research on the mark and color of various pictorial techniques, dense and transparent materials and others. Her creativity is the fragility and instability of man's inner world, balancing on the edge of the abyss. In a series of "Behold the Man" Skuatriti like no other, deeply reveals the existence of the mysterious lunatic asylum transmitted by means of art, opening up a whole new parallel world. She creates her own language of symbols and metaphors, accompanying photos of sick people, describing different facets of this existence, emphasizing their helplessness and infinite loneliness.
