KRAINEV Daniel (Danila) Karpovich

he Studied at the Imperial Academy of arts — Higher art Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture under the Imperial Academy of arts (1890-1894 Benois). During the period of study twice awarded small silver (1891, 1892) and large silver (1892, 1893) medals. In 1897, for the painting "the Story" received the title of artist.

Lived in Odessa. Worked as a landscape painter, genre painter. A member and Exhibitor of the society of South Russian artists (1916), Art societies. К. К. Костанди (1924-1929). He exhibited at the all-Ukrainian jubilee exhibition, dedicated to the 10-летию October (1927-1928), 2-й all-Ukrainian art exhibition Narcompros USSR (1929; both @mobile mdas, in the cities of Ukraine) and others.

1901 занимался teaching at Odessa drawing school — Odessa art school, Odessa art Institute, the Nicholas school of art; Professor (since 1935). Among the students — В. Ф. Лазурский, И. Н. Шульга, П. В. Васильев, А. Т. Наговицын. For his activities he was awarded the title of honored art worker of the Ukrainian SSR.

Work is represented in several Museum collections, among them — of the Nikolaev regional art Museum named after. В. В. Верещагина, Odessa state-краеведческий Museum.
