In the 1920's worked a lot of satirical graphics, collaborated with the magazines "Siskin", "hedgehog", "Behemoth", "laughers", "Crocodile". Created cycles easel graphics "Nepmen" (1928-1932), "West" (1932-1934), "Naked Artist's Model" (1930).

From 1929 he taught at the graphic department of the Leningrad VHUTEINa (Institute of proletarian art, the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Architecture and Sculpture, Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. Repin).
