daughter of the painter K. Makovsky, a niece of the artist Vladimir Makovsky, a sister art critic SK Makovsky. Studied at the Tenishev studio (1890), Ilya Repin, then - in the Superior Art School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture at IAH (1896-1897) in the studio Repin, School Aschbe in Munich (1897-1899). Upon his return to St. Petersburg mastered sculpture under the direction of ST Konenkov. Makovskaya works are in several museum collections, including the State Russian Museum, the Museum of Arts and Crafts in Hamburg.
