born in the family of a Russian diplomat Prince PI Trubetskoy and the American pianist Ada Vinams. Childhood years lived in Italy for the parent di Villa Ada Giffen, near Lake Maggiore. In 1884 he moved to Milan, where he took lessons at the marble sculpture craftsmanship of Piedmont D. Barkal, and E. Badzaro and D. Grundy. In 1885 he began working in his own studio in Milan. In 1921 he returned to Paris, spent the summer at his villa near Kabianko Pallanza. In 1932, finally settled in Italy. Paolo Troubetzkoy - a prominent sculptor of the last third of XIX - the first third of the twentieth century.
