to a family of icon-painter Vasily Kashin; younger sister is the artist Hope Cascina. Graduated from Perm art College (1922), where he studied under the guidance И. И. Иконникова. Studied in VKhUTEMAS — Vhuteine in Moscow (1922-1930) К. Н. Истомина, В. А. Фаворского, П. В. Митурича, Н. Н. Купреянова. In 1930 выполнила thesis — the book layout and illustrations for the fairy tale Г. Х. Андерсена "Nightingale"

The author of many works of genre painting, still lifes, portraits, landscapes; paintings: "Water station IOCPB" (1930), "Summer" (1933), "Star oktyabryata" (1934), "down on the Farm nursery" (1934), "Children on the walk" (1935), "Kindergarten" (1937), "model aircraft Artek" (1939), "With teaching" (1943), "snow castle" (1946), "the Bridge in Tsaritsyno" (1947), "Bouquet" (1951), "Grenades" (1965), "a Bouquet and apples" (1966).

As an Illustrator collaborated with ogiz, publishing house "Young guard". Completed the design of collections of "Kvas" (1928), "Gold workers" (1930), "counting" (1933); books "Bicycle" Т. Н. Тэсс (1930), "Star of Mordvin" Э. Г. Багрицкого (1931).

In 1931 the mission of the publishing house "Young guard" went to Novorossiysk. In 1935 together with her husband received from the Commissariat a business trip to pioneer camp "Artek" in Crimea. During the great Patriotic war collaborated in the Windows of TASS.

From 1929 — participant of exhibitions. A member of the group "GROWTH" (1928) and the group "13" (1929-1930). Exhibited: 1-й traveling exhibition of paintings and drawings (1929) in Moscow; 2-й and -3-й traveling exhibitions in cities of the RSFSR and the republics of the Soviet Union (1930, 1931); 5-й exhibition of paintings and graphics of modern Russian artists in Feodosia (1929) and others. Participated in many exhibitions of Soviet art abroad, including Amsterdam, Riga (both — 1929), Zurich, Johannesburg (both — 1931), London (1934), Oslo (1936); the world exhibition in Paris (1936). Held a personal exhibition in Moscow (1934). Member of mosskh.

Work is represented in many Museum collections, among them — of the State Tretyakov gallery, the Pushkin Museum im. А. С. Пушкина Perm state art gallery, Karakalpak state Museum of art. И. В. Савицкого in Nukus, the State Museum of arts of Uzbekistan in Tashkent and others.
