she spent her Childhood in Saratov and Smolensk. In 1919 был mobilized to serve in the Red army, and from there was sent to study at the Saratov art-практический Institute; studied under the guidance П. С. Уткина, В. М. Юстицкого.

he Lived in Saratov (until 1932), then — in Dmitrov and Moscow. He painted portraits, landscapes, still lifes, created the paintings and sketches of genre content.

the Author of the paintings are: "portrait of the daughter Irina" (1920), "Tea" (1923), "Harvesting fields" (1925), "the Saratov beer "Venetian choir"" (1926), "Batumi sea port" (1927), "still life with hats" (1928), "Fist" (1929), "Street in Dmitrov" (1933), "Portrait М. А. Егоровой" (1937), "Channel Moscow — Volga" (1937), "Yakhroma gateway" (1939), "Before the storm" (1939), "Portrait of Hero of the Soviet Union Б. Туржанского" (1939), "festive day" (1940); of graphic works (gouache, watercolor, pencil): "Clowns-эксцентрики" (1920), "Tea Fedi Kurchavov", "the butcher shop", "Gamblers", "Fight in the tavern", "orthopedic workshop", "Matchmaking", "The registry office" (all — mid 1920-х), "the Kura River" (1927), "Volga ravines" (1928); autolithographs series of "the history of Saratov" (1920-е), drawings "Volga river near Saratov" (1920-30-е; ink). Engaged in monotype.

Since 1922 — participant of exhibitions (exhibition of paintings by contemporary artists in Saratov). Member AHRR (1925), society "4 искусства" (1926-1929). He exposed his works at exhibitions: paintings (1924), 2-й spring exhibition of paintings (1925), paintings, drawings and sculpture (1925, 1927), 4-й regional art exhibition (1940) in Saratov, the Community of artists in Leningrad (1925).

he Taught at the Saratov art school (1925-1932).

the Memorial exhibitions of the artist took place in Saratov, Dmitrov (both — 1970), Perm (1972), Moscow (1984).

Work is represented in many Museum collections, including in the Saratov state art Museum im. А. Н. Радищева realization of the project. А. С. Пушкина State Tretyakov gallery, the State literary Museum, the Museum of city history of Moscow and others.
