the daughter of the artist-модельера. Studied at the Odessa art College (1904-1910); in Moscow — in Central Stroganov-промышленном College (1914-1917), 1-х State free art studios (1918-1919) П. П. Кончаловского and D. A. shcherbinovsky, in VKhUTEMAS (1921-1925, with a break) on painting faculty at Р. Р. Фалька.

In 1919-1920 работала artist in the political Department of the red army in Vologda. In 1925-1927 lived in Wuhan and Shanghai (China); taught at the Shanghai school of fine arts; mastered the skill of traditional Chinese embroidery. From 1927 lived in Moscow. In 1929 he went to Germany. He painted portraits, landscapes, genre scenes. He worked a lot in watercolour and pastel. Author of painting works "coolies of Hankow" (1931), "Autumn bouquet" (1935), "the embroideress", "Listen", "Portrait of the actress К. Григорян" (all — 1930-е), "still life", "Girl with fish" (1940-е) and others. In 1930 sent to the creative business in the municipality "proletarian will" in the North Caucasus, in 1931 went to the Magnitogorsk coke plant; has completed the cycle of works "Magnitogorsk" series. Visited Pyatigorsk, Chapaevsk, Baku.

From 1928 — participant of exhibitions. Member of the society of GROWTH (1928-1929), society of artists-общественников (1928-1930), akhr (1931-1932), mossh (1932). Participated in exhibitions: 2-й (1930) and 3-й (1931) traveling exhibitions in cities of the RSFSR and republics of the USSR; reporting of works by artists, seconded to the regions of the industrial building and collective farms (1931, 1932), young artists (1931), painting, sculpture and graphics by artists-контрактников 1937 года (1937), women-художников (1938, 1939), the all-Union exhibition of young artists dedicated to the 20-летию the Komsomol (1939), all-Union art exhibition "industry of socialism" (1939), 6-й (1939) and 7-й (1940) MSH exhibitions, the exhibition of decorative arts (1955), 3-й exhibition of watercolours by Moscow artists (1957) in Moscow; "Artists of the RSFSR for XV years" in Leningrad (1932); traveling exhibition of paintings and drawings of Moscow artists in Kharkov (1932); "Great Patriotic war" in Kuibyshev (1942). The Exhibitor of several foreign exhibitions, in particular the Soviet art in Berlin (1930), Warsaw (1946). In 1933 he held his personal exhibition in the factory of Magnitogorsk club, participated in group exhibitions in Moscow (1936 — in conjunction with Х. Б. Гольд, П. И. Сапуновым, Г. Я. Мельниковым; 1957 — in conjunction with В. П. Деопик, Л. С. Полянской).
