he Studied at the Odessa art College. In 1903-1912 lived abroad, studied in Munich, Florence, Paris.

he Lived in Kharkov and Moscow (1922). Was engaged in easel and monumental sculpture; the author of portraits and genre compositions: "the Boy with the paddle" (1924, gypsum), "Portrait of wife" (1926), "red" (1926), "Komsomolskaya Pravda" (1926), "cultural work in the village" (1935), "Descemetocele" (1935), "Metro" (1939). Executed the monument to "freedom Fighters" in Penza (1928, concrete).

he Participated in exhibitions of the group "OBIS" ("United art", 1925); "Socialist construction in Soviet art" (1930-1931), exhibition of Moscow sculptors (1937), all-Union art exhibition "industry of socialism" (1939) in Moscow; the international exhibition "Art and technique in modern life" in Paris (1937). A member and Exhibitor AHRR — akhr (1926).

he Taught at Kharkiv art school (1920-1922).

Work is represented in several Museum collections, among them — of the State Central Museum of contemporary history of Russia.
