he Lived in Moscow. In 1918 together with О. В. Алексеевой participated in festive decoration of Moscow streets for the first anniversary of the October revolution. From 1920 he performed sketches of porcelain and glass for the State porcelain factory (from 1925 — LPF) and Gusev glass plant.

as an artist-исполнителя worked on the decoration of the play "Sakuntala" Kalidas in the Moscow Chamber theatre (1914-1915, sketches П. В. Кузнецова). As an independent artist-декоратор designed productions in the Studio. М. Н. Ермоловой (1920-1924), Nikolaevsk, Michurinskoye (1937), Omsk and Kemerovo (1939-1942) the dramatic theater. He created artwork for over 160 постановок, including: "Marriage" Н. В. Гоголя "Lightning", "guilty Without guilt" А. Н. Островского, "the Fiery bridge" Б. С. Ромашкова, "Optimistic tragedy" В. В. Вишневского, "Barbara" А. М. Горького "In steppes of Ukraine" А. Е. Корнейчука and others. From 1943 he designed the performances of the Luhansk theatres: Russian drama theatre — "Under chestnuts of Prague" (1944) and "the Russian question" (1946) К. М. Симонова, "Wolves and sheep" А. Н. Островского (1948); Ukrainian musical@theatre ndashдраматического — "Stepmother" О. Бальзака (1945), "the Death squadron" (1947), "the Truth" (1954, in collaboration with О. В. Алексеевой) А. Н. Корнейчука in "Talents and admirers" А. Н. Островского (1954). He painted landscapes, still lifes.

Participated in exhibitions Association "World of art" (1915-1917), "Free creativity" (1918) in Moscow and Petrograd. Exhibitor exhibitions: 2-й of the exhibition of paintings of the Union of artists-живописцев (1918), 2-й and 8-й Public exhibitions of paintings (both — 1919), "Ballet and dance" (1921) in Moscow; 1-й Tambov regional exhibition of paintings, drawings and graphics (1937); 1-й exhibition of theatrical artists of Omsk region, Omsk (1941); Jubilee exhibition artists of the USSR (1957), the Republican art exhibition (1961) in Kiev; 6-й exhibition of works by artists of the Luhansk region, on the 40-й anniversary of the great October socialist revolution, in Lugansk (1957). His personal exhibitions were held in Moscow (1960) and Leningrad (1962; both mark the 50th-летию creative activity).

he Taught at Omsk (1939-1941) and Lugansk (1944-1952) art schools.

Work is represented in many Museum collections, among them — of the State Russian Museum, State Central theatre Museum. А. А. Бахрушина the State Tretyakov gallery.
