The ambiguity of the relationship of Picasso and the women who surround him are reflected in the subjects of bullfighting and the crucifixion, where the artist identified himself with the bull — victim Torero, and finally in the works section "Eros and Thanatos", which contains works United by the theme of the Minotaur — tyrant and the victim — the main alter ego of the master in 1930-е years.
