Aron froimovich Buch (1923-2006) was born in Berdichev, in the Ukraine. At age 13 he moved with his parents to Moscow, where he began to study painting. He studied painting under the guidance of the famous Soviet artists Konstantin Yuon and Vasily Baksheev. A significant part of the creative path, from the 1950s-х prior to 1980-х, developed in the traditions of "Union of Russian artists" and was fond of impressionism. Member of USSR Union of artists since 1959, he has remained de facto independent artist-одиночкой.

Aron Bukh did a career in the system of official art and was not included in the conditional group of non-conformists, he was not interested in the problems of contemporary art. the exhibition presents 24 paintings and graphic works made since the late 1980-х 2004. A diverse range of genres, represents the author's works: portrait, Nude, still life, landscape.

during the period of the exhibition the viewers are offered two documentaries and a series of lectures dedicated to the life and work of the master.
