From 28 September to 9 December 2018 in Yaroslavl art Museum opened the exhibition "Lucy Voronov. A new meeting" organized by the Moscow collector, art critic and publisher of Yuri Petukhov with the newly registered Fund Lucy Raven.

On the Moscow art scene Lucy Voronov appeared long ago. For more than thirty years of exhibition experience personal exhibitions of the artist took place in many countries: Denmark, Germany, China, USA, UK etc. In September 2013 became an honorary member of the Russian Academy of arts. It has a spectator, a connoisseur, a collector. Graphic sheets Raven first of all — sincere fixation personal feelings and experiences, totally independent, separate expression of the artist, a kind of diary entries made by lines, not words.

As a rule, figures Raven — this leaves A4, and often less. Different colors and shades (the artist likes to draw on tinted paper), often with uneven, ragged edges, sometimes with fragments of previously printed texts or whatever-то images. Often the leaves are just cut from cheap wrapping paper. Voronov works in series, cycles, making several drawings from the same model and motive. The artist does in the chart of edits and corrections, it is easier to start drawing again, to make another version another version. The art of Lucy Raven is devoid of morals and pathos, it does not carry software ideas or desire to push the viewer to making crucial decisions. But Raven often say much more other programming works of other artists. They bribe the audience feature of plasticity and the apparent ease of execution that many define as "I can too", an amazing way to expand your circle of fans of the artist. Voronov did not initially know the final result (in this she is as close to a children's drawing), have no idea of how it will look like workin the end, — is always a surprise even to herself. Hence, perhaps, arises the originality of its compositional decisions.
