The Museum of the East invites you to "the Valley of the winds"
Exhibition of paintings of Zuhur Khabibullaeva (1932-2013) from the collection of Julia Verbitskaya (Linnik) opens on September 27
State Museum of Oriental art together with the art Foundation and Museum activities of "Russian sponsors" present an exhibition "Valley of the winds". The project is devoted to creativity of the honored worker of arts, people's artist of Tajikistan Zuhur Khabibullaeva (1932-2013).
a Talented painter, without mention of which no cost, no stories about the visual arts of Central Asia, was born in 1932 in Dushanbe. In 1959-м graduated from the Leningrad higher art-промышленное school. V. I. Mukhina, and returned home to teach at the Republican art College. Following the traditions of Russian and European art, the artist has created his own plastic language based on the Eastern worldview and ethnic culture. Works Khabibullaeva peculiar sharp color contrasts, dynamic patterns, bright images. At the exhibition you can get acquainted with the works of masters from different periods of his work, among them such famous works as "Winter in Dushanbe", "Kildare", "Mirage" and others.
Expressive paintings Khabibullaeva has become a cause for the indictment of the artist in the formalism. However, this did not stop him from going its own way and received international recognition, becoming one of the most prominent representatives of Tajik fine arts of second half of XX century. The wizard is stored in the State Museum of Oriental art, State Tretyakov gallery and in museums and private collections in the UK, France, Switzerland, India, USA, China and other countries.
the Exhibition "Valley of the winds" — is the fifth project organized by the President of the Foundation support for the arts and Museum activities of the "Russian Maecenas" Yulia Verbitskaya (Linnik) in the State Museum of Oriental art. Each project is dedicated to the talented craftsmen-живописцам representing the fine arts of Tajikistan of the XX and XXI centuries. This time the exhibition will complement the work of pupils of Children art school. Buzovkina A. A., art Studio "sunshine" (Serpukhov), and "Children's arts school" (Serpukhov district, village Obolensk). The main theme of wonderful drawings and collages became the East in its many different manifestations.
