In "charge" opened the first exhibition of paintings — in the state Tretyakov gallery

The exhibition "Picturing Russia" which opens today at the new exhibition space of the Zaryadye Park will show masterpieces of landscape painting from the collection of the state Tretyakov gallery — work Savrasov, Levitan, Kustodiev, Nyssa, etc.

the exhibition presents 55 paintings by 36 local artists of different directions from the State Tretyakov gallery. The exhibition shows how landscape became the most important genre of Russian painting at the turn of XVIII–XIX centuries, passed a way from the ideal of the classical landscape — "portrait" of the area or city — to multivalued art constructions, the interpretation of space.

Visitors will see rarely exhibited works of A. Savrasov, I. Levitan, K. A. Korovin, V. G. Perov, K. Yuon, I. S. Ostroukhova, N. Goncharova, as well as works by O. A. Lagoda-Шишкиной, G. F. Yartsev, Yu. p. Annenkov, G. G. Nissky, V. K. Byalynitsky-Бируля, N. Romadin, V. Popkov Yu.

the Exhibition is arranged in sections, combining pictures on a thematic and partly chronological order: "Capital", "Exploring the country", "Tradition and tales", "Time forward", "In nature nothing changes".

In the final section of the exhibition "In the area of eternal ice" presents a picture of the brush Alexander Alekseevich Borisov (1866 – 1934) — the first painter of the Arctic, writer, Explorer of polar lands. Huge canvas "the region of eternal ice (Summer)" (1897) was written after a trip to the far North on the basis of field studies and sketches. P. M. Tretyakov bought the author of this picture and 24 preparatory work for it, some of which will also be presented at the exhibition. The picture exhibited for the first time since 1934; to the fair it was specifically restored by the specialists of the Tretyakov gallery.
