"Russian Dadaism. 1914-1924" in Madrid
The exhibition opened at Madrid's Reina Sofia to October 22, is about 250 works of such writers as Aleksei Kruchenykh, Kazimir Malevich, Alexander Rodchenko and others.
the Exhibition "Russian Dadaism. 1914-1924" presents paintings, collages and illustrations, as well as publications and films and numerous Russian authors: Nathan Altman, Vasily Ermilov, Ivan kljuna, Gustav Klutsis and Alexei Kruchenykh, Valentina Kulagina, Vladimir Lebedev, Kazimir Malevich, Alexei Morgunov, Ivan Puni, Aleksandr Rodchenko, Olga Rozanova, Sergei charchoune and many others.
the Exhibition is divided into three parts. First — works created in the period from the First world war until the events of 1917. This movement of Russian avant-garde from abstraction to collage, the creation of the futuristic Opera "Victory over the sun" (1913), the sketches for which were exhibited. The second part of — 1917-го to Lenin's death in 1924 — dedicated to the revolutionary aesthetics. Third — main — shows the Parallels of the Russian Dadaism with European and American. Emphasis is placed on the works of El Lissitzky in Berlin, Sergei charchoune and Ilya Zdanevich in Paris. Curator — Margarita Tupitsyn.
