"Sport in the Soviet porcelain, drawing, sculpture" in the Russian Museum
The exhibition in the Benois wing presents about 350 works of domestic pottery (porcelain, earthenware, majolica) 1920-х — early 1990-х years
the Exhibition includes works from collections of the Russian Museum, the State Hermitage and private collections. The first three sections of the exhibition dedicated to the major porcelain factories in the country: the Leningrad porcelain factory im. M. V. Lomonosov, the Dmitrov porcelain factory and Dulevo porcelain factory them. the newspaper "Pravda". The fourth section includes the works of all the other, less ambitious but no less interesting productions (Pervomajskij porcelain factory, the plant "Proletariat", Konakovo faience plant. M. I. Kalinin, artel "Ceramics" and "Progress" and others).

the Exhibition allows to trace how the theme of sport and healthy lifestyle change under the influence task, which is the time set before the art of ceramics, as reflected in her different sporting event (Olympics, Olympics, goodwill Games), what new artistic motifs and techniques used by artists in a particular period in the history of the country. For the first time the subject of sport in China covered so completely with — at the exhibition presents works by more than 90 authors.
