Moscow artists to 260-летию ARTS
Exhibition in the exhibition halls of the Moscow Union of artists on Kuznetsky most — from October 25 to November 5, 2017
this year not only Moscow artists ' Union celebrated its jubilee, but also of the Russian Academy of arts celebrates 260-летие since the Foundation. The role of the Academy in modern cultural life is enormous: its goal not only the preservation of a centuries-old artistic heritage of Russia, but also the support of the most bold creative experiments. Exhibition dedicated to this event, opens in the halls of MOA at the Kuznetsk Bridge.
This project aims to show how contemporary art practice are brought the basic principles of academic art. Artists — academics and members of the-корреспонденты RAH — representatives of different trends, styles and schools, I want this exhibition to expand the notions of Academy, to pay tribute to its traditions and to show a relevant picture of contemporary art.
