From 10 to 12 August in Shanghai will host an international exhibition dedicated to the preservation of the world cultural heritage — Heritage Preservation International 2017. Important professional forum for restorers and Museum employees all over the world, Heritage Preservation International supported the Chinese branch of ICOMOS (International Council on monuments) and presents a practical overview of the latest equipment, materials and technologies in the field of restoration architecture and movable monuments as well as modern Museum approaches, associated with heritage conservation. In the framework of Heritage Preservation International 2017 planned an extensive program of professional seminars.

To represent the Russian school of restoration at the stand of the Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation was selected as the project "Meletovo. Time decisions," prepared by the Restoration center named after academician I. E. Grabar, in cooperation with mnru (Interregional scientific-реставрационное art management) and the Union of restorers of Russia. Exhibition held in GRC them. academician I. E. Grabar and dedicated to the unique architectural-художественному complex of the XV century — Church of the assumption of the virgin in the village of Meletovo, near Pskov, has attracted a record number of visitors. On 29 June the exhibition was held a round table on the issues of restoration and the continued existence of the monument, which was attended by representatives of the scientific and Museum community and public organizations of Pskov. Currently, the Church is in dire need of restoration. The revival of the unique wall paintings engaged in mnrh.

Restoration center (GRC) was founded in 1918 on the initiative of artist and art historian Igor Grabar Grabar and prepares next year to mark its centenary. All this time the staff of the Center actively participated in the formation and preservation of the Museum Fund contributed to the creation of the restoration workshops in most major museums of the Russian Federation, and in fact were the founders of key areas of scientific restoration.
