Asya Feoktistova (1967) was born in Nizhny Novgorod, graduated from the theatre-декорационное Department of the Moscow art school of memory of 1905, then returned to his hometown. Since the early 1990-х she has exhibited extensively in the Lower, and in 2004-м moved to Moscow. On account of the artist more than 60 group and personal exhibitions in Russia and abroad.

For the anniversary project "50 attempts to tell the truth" was coined by the unusual format — garden painting. Visitors to the exhibition in Central house of artists will take place in the hall through the corridor of the monumental paintings of size 3 by 2 meters. With them will combine the works of small format. On the back of the work ASI Feoktistovoy usually, you can meet the author text — thoughts forming blank verse, which arose in the process of creating a particular work. On the opening day will be presented and a signature technique of "living painting" Feoktistovoy, when the hall will come out of the model depicted on the canvases of the artist: the girl with the harp, the owner of "hot cello" etc.

the Organizers promise not only visual but musical innovation. The work of the artist is closely intertwined with the music (her husband — composer and performer Nikita Kochergin). In particular, one of her most famous projects, "Assimilation", has been associated with the conversion of musical works in the painting – the translation of the music in the format of the picture. For example, the artist worked on a two-meter canvas exactly while sounded the Concerto Grosso No. 1 by Alfred Schnittke. And as soon as stopped music, the brush stayed.

the opening will take place the presentation of 200-страничного catalog, which includes not only works from the exhibition "50 attempts to tell the truth", but other works created Feoktistovoy in different years.
