A project by Maria Kulagina "In the same boat" brought together a number of new works created specifically for the April exhibition and its distinctive reliefs, sculptures and mirrors

" In the same boat" — the title of the Central work of the exhibition Maria Kulagina, a large-scale relief, after whom is named the whole project. It contains a set of meanings — from biblical ideas and images (Christ on the water with the apostles) to the global disaster of modernity (boat refugees). It is about love, passion, mutual support and compassion.

In contrast to the title of the relief picture of the new work, "Mirror", before the exhibition, the organizers do not show. We only know that it is used as a plastic mirror move, but the General idea — reflection, the attitude of people to themselves and to others. The object of the Mirror will consist of several parts: "Fighting mirrors", "running away from mirror and Mirror neurons".

Artist Maria Kulagina — representative of the art 1990-х. She was born in a family of artists, heirs of the constructivist Gustav Klucis. In the work Kulagina also notable are the experiments with form, rhythm, space. Material for the works of Mary Kulagina often act as corrugated cardboard, metal, newspaper, boards, plywood. However much attention she gives painting and drawing.

the works of Mary Kulagina are in the State Russian Museum, Moscow Museum of modern art, Yaroslavl art Museum, Vologda regional art gallery, Tomsk regional art Museum, Kemerovo regional Museum of fine arts, new-Иерусалимском art Museum and in many private collections in Russia and abroad.

For the public exhibition opens on 13 April and 12 April will be opening day.
