Alexey Tarasovich of Besperstov (1923-2001) in childhood came with his family from Russia to Tajikistan. From Stalinabad (in 1961-м the city returned its historical name — Dushanbe) went to the front, there returned after the war and devoted himself to painting and teaching. Landscapes and portraits of Alexei Besperstov at the same time lyrical and dramatic, a powerful plastic and complex flavor. The picturesque manner of the artist inherent in the transfer of thin air environment. The exhibition includes the work of Central Asian 1960-90-х — vivid and rich period of creativity of the artist. They are supplemented by canvases and sketches written by the artist on trips to the Crimea, among which are seascapes. In 1993 Alex Besperstov returned to Russia, settled in the Kaluga region. Here he continued to work, however, Tajikistan had endowed him with intense emotion and creative inspiration.

Vladimir Glukhov — student Alexei Besperstov, born in 1961 in Dushanbe. In 1990-е the artist has left Tajikistan and moved to Tyumen, but the Central Asian theme has remained the most important for him. "Tajikistan — my home, my Paradise. There is warmth. Sun, fruit, dazzling paint — crimson, azure, yellow..." Vladimir Glukhov often the case in Tajikistan. Homeland gives him emotions and energizes. In his paintings comes to life a distant tale, the characters have grotesque features, deliberately the planar manner of the image refers to the Eastern miniatures. In the works of Vladimir Glukhov traits of European Fauvism. Inherent in his work color symbolism in conjunction with folklore gives rise to contemporaries to call the artist "Russian Gauguin".
