the Exhibition "Endless journey" covers half a century of creative activity of the artist.

According to researchers, the concept of internal works of Igor Snegur is based on a synthesis of mystical ideas of Russian symbolism and plastic solutions to the Suprematism of Kazimir Malevich. In different years the critics took Snegur and the second wave of Russian avant-garde, but the artist does not fit into one direction or style.

the artist Himself says about his work: "the Truth is not in the picture, but what it deals with: how to track what-то the truth. Truth — that things that glow in the picture: the special truth that the artist is trying to frazierwall the language of painting: colors and shapes. Painting — the same language as all other — music, literature, dance. But she has her own laws: only visual perception, passing the smells, the sounds, the more movement. Painting — statics, captures the moment".

Igor G. Snegur was born in 1935 in Moscow. For sixteen years he chose the profession and seriously took up painting. Actively involved in the artistic process since the late 1950-х — participated in the famous exhibition 30-летия of Moscow Union of artists at the Manezh in 1962, defeated N. Khrushchev, in exhibitions of the Moscow artists of the Studio Eliya Belyutina. At the same time studied on the graphic faculty of the Moscow polygraphic Institute, 1960-1964. In 1975, Snegur's work was presented at the famous avant-garde opening day in the pavilion "beekeeping" at ENEA, and in the late 1970-х Igor Snegur organized the famous art group "20 Moscow artists" annual exhibition which took place on Malaya Gruzinskaya in 1978-1988.

I. Snegur held more than 30 solo exhibitions and participated in over 50 group exhibitions in Russia and abroad.

the Work is in the collections of the State Tretyakov Gallery, State Russian Museum, Moscow Museum of Modern Art@the semicolon at the art museums of Khabarovsk, Kostroma, Orel, Vladivostok, Yaroslavl and in numerous private collections abroad.
