Dialogue of art and science in the works of non-conformists on display "Symmetrical worlds — mirrored symmetry" in the Art Museum Kumu
Curators Anna Romanova and EHA Komissarov has set the task to explore the creative dialogue of Moscow and Tallinn post-war non-artists. Two of the participants — Julo Sooster and Yuri Sobolev-Нолев — legendary figures of Moscow nonconformist art, "credence", the participants of the historical exhibition at the Manezh in 1962 (criticized by Khrushchev).
One of the objectives of the exhibition is to show the formation of the synthesis of art and science, which was in the works of all four artists. Let me remind you that Yuri Sobolev-Нолев and Julo Sooster a long time collaborated with the magazine "Knowledge — force" and illustrated scientific books.
Kumu Art Museum in Tallinn is the largest Museum in the Baltic States.
