large-Scale exhibition of the same name was held with great success in January of this year. Curator of the exhibition and compiler of directories — antiquary, collector and philanthropist Konstantin Zhuromsky.

Exhibited the works of two famous representatives of the Benois family: the founder of the Association "World of art", master artist of "Russian seasons", art critic and art historian Alexander Benois (1870-1960) and his older brother — founder of the Society of Russian watercolors, academician of the Imperial Academy of arts Alberta (1852-1936).

At the exhibition you can buy Souvenirs issued by organizers to promote the legacy of artists. The range is designed for a variety of shopping opportunities-from individual cards and magnets with reproductions to high-quality prints made on watercolor paper in the pigment printing technique.

At the exhibition you can buy 2 separate album devoted to creativity of artists.

The Album. "Albert Benoit. Miracles" (216 pages) includes more than 200 illustrations:

• important dates in the life;
• excerpts from the memoirs of Alexander Benois about albert Benoit;
• the album of drawings: over 50 pencil sketches, cartoons, field sketches;
• index of papers, drawn from 88 catalogs of exhibitions, auctions, charity lotteries, reports of the Academy of arts and other sources from 1882 to 1998 гг.; the index contains more than 1,500 works;
• 40 vintage postcards with reproductions issued by the Community of St. Eugenia, typography Richard, Ostrovsky, and other publishers of the early twentieth century;
• 86 watercolors in the landscape part, including 36 works from the collection of the descendants of albert Benois, living in France.

Album "Alexander Benois. The happy worker" (260 pages, 300 illustrations):

• important dates in the life;
• a list of theatrical productions in which Alexander Benois participated as an artist and as a Director of;
• 46 postcards with reproductions of works by Alexander Benois, issued by the Community of St. Eugenia (the beginning of the twentieth century);
• 57 watercolors (mostly landscapes) from private Russian collections, created at different times, 1890-х to 1959;
• 48 sketches of scenery and theatrical costumes from the Russian private collections;
• a list of works by Alexander Benois exhibited at various exhibitions from 1891 to 2002. Just collected the information from a directory 104 exhibitions in Russia, Europe and USA.

the Exhibition "Two brothers Benoit. Albert and Alexander. Watercolor of Russian and foreign private collections" is open daily from 11:00 to 20:00.
