"Artist Alisov Michail Alexandrovich. 5.1.1860–15.06.1933. Marine painter, the best pupil of Ivan Aivazovsky. From the kommunkhoz, 1960" — is the essence of the whole tragic story of the upheavals of the twentieth century in one of the tombstones in the old cemetery of Yalta.

Mikhail Alisov lived in the Crimea, the greater part of his life. But he was born in Kharkov, he studied at the Saint-Петербурге, at the Academy of arts of Julius Yul'evich Clover (father). But his favorite region and source of inspiration was the Crimean Yalta and its surroundings. At the turn of the century beneficial career developed successfully. Its Marina decorated the homes of local connoisseurs of art. 40-летию artist in 1900, was arranged a big solo exhibition, which managed to collect more than 130 works. In 1912, in Yalta, a series of postcards "flora of the Crimea" with illustrations by Michael alisova.

After the revolution, Alisov, like many other artists, has been unjustly forgotten. His works were known mainly to specialists, and traces many of his works were lost. Therefore, the exhibition "Eternal beauty", which presents 17 paintings of all periods of the artist, — is practically a new discovery beneficial to the public. All works of the exhibition come from private collections, the exhibition was the company ARTCONSUL and curator — art historian Victoria Stupina.
