the exhibition "the Studio "New reality" (1958-1991). The transformation of consciousness" is held in conjunction with the Museum Fund of the Russian abstract art Foundation RAI).

for the First time in decades a wide range of audience will be acquainted with the unique phenomenon in Russian culture of the second half of the twentieth century. This is a whole layer of abstract art — painting, theoretical and methodological developments, documents and other materials, forgotten in the archives and storerooms.

the history of the Studio "New reality" begins in 1950-х. It was founded by artist, teacher and thinker Ely Belyutin. It was a time of General recovery after the victory over fascism, faith in a happy future, a softening of the regime, open the way to space. Studio "New reality" reflects the spirit of the age. Around Ely Belyutin's formed the circle of artists seeking freedom of expression and new forms in art.

Exhibition in the MMSI will be the first in its conception and scope, the attempt to present in the interaction of practical and theoretical side of the art Studio, a comprehensive theory of common ability to contact Elia Belutin and the theory of temporal art Vladislav Zubarev (which is a further development of the theory of common ability to contact). The exhibition aims to confirm the relevance of the theoretical provisions of the "New reality", their applicability in our day. The unique architecture of the exposition, extensive use of multimedia and a series of special master-классов prepared by the staff of the Museum-based teaching methods Belyutina, will allow the viewer to become not just an eyewitness but also a full participant in the most significant events in the life of the Studio, to experience and to repeat the experience and sensations of discoveries made by the members of the Studio.

the exhibition will present more than 100 paintings of the main representatives of the "New reality". Among them E. Belyutin, V. Zubarev, L. Gribkov, T. Ter-Гевондян, V.
