Exhibition Vasily Kandinsky at the Russian Museum
A month later, on 22 September 2016, in the Benois wing of timing will open the exhibition "Wassily Kandinsky and Russia". The project is timed to 150-летию from the date of birth of the artist
the exhibition will include early figurative works by Vasily Kandinsky and innovative abstractions from the inventor of abstract art. In addition to works by Kandinsky, the exhibition will feature the works of his colleagues in the "Blue rider" and the Izdebsky Salon — Alexei Jawlensky, Marianne Verevkina, Mikhail Larionov, Natalia Goncharova, Kazimir Malevich and others.
Exhibition — team: works will come from the collections of not only timing, but also the Tretyakov gallery, the Pushkin Museum, the Hermitage and other museums.
in Addition to paintings and drawings, the exhibition will include works of folk art, ornaments painting which is believed to have influenced the work of Kandinsky. Bring spinning wheels, toys, embroidered towels and baskets.
