Paintings from the collections of the Fund's long positions in Florence and the Pushkin Museum to them. A. S. Pushkin". It is sort of a continuation of the first large-scale exhibition of the works of the great Italian master Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio (1571-1610), largely determined the further development of European art from the museums of Italy, which was held in the Museum at the end of 2011 @the beginning of 2012. gada@

In the present exhibition will be presented the famous "wizard Boy bitten by a lizard" and paintings by leading contemporary artists of the XVII–XVIII centuries, which to a large extent was influenced by Caravagio@

the uniqueness of the exhibition in that it includes the work, brought from Italy, belonging to the Fund Roberto Longhi in Florence, and also the works in the collection of the State Museum of fine arts named after A. S. Pushkin. In total, there will be shown more than 50 works zhivopisi@

Thirty paintings from the Fund's long positions are part of the rich collection, collected a scholar and critic Roberto Longhi (1890-1970), one of the prominent representatives of the art world of science.
