Today in the Moscow Museum of modern art opens a large-scale retrospective of the master of drawing and painting Vasili Ivanovich Shukhaev (1887-1973). The exhibition in the main building of the Museum will present the entire career Shukhaev, all kinds and genres of his art. Vasily Ivanovich Shukhaev lived a long, complex and colorful life that fully reflects all the dramatic twists and turns of the Russian artistic intelligentsia of the twentieth century. In his personal and creative life of the artist combines history, politics and features the artistic life of pre-revolutionary and Soviet Russia, interwar Paris period@
