In the new wing of the Hermitage in the General staff building tomorrow opens the exhibition "FLUXUS: Atlas of Russian history".

In the late 1950 — the beginning of the 1960s, avant-garde artists sought new ways and forms of expression. Artistic movement FLUXUS emerged in the Wake of these sentiments was the reason for the interaction of artists who worked in different parts of the world over the same question: how to merge in a continuous flow of creativity art and everyday reality?

Work presented at the exhibition in the State Hermitage Museum, will allow us to consider different aspects of performance artists, at various times participated in the FLUXUS movement. The exhibition presents rare archival materials related to the organization of FLUXUS festivals, photo and video documentation of performances, and original work of the participants dvijeniya@
