Today in state Russian Museum opens exhibition of paintings by Karl Bryullov from private collections of Moscow and St. Petersburg

Today at the State Russian Museum opens the exhibition "Karl Bryullov from private collections of Moscow and St. Petersburg". The exhibition presents ten works absolutely reliable Karl Briullov are located in Russia and owned by private collectors. It is not about drawings and watercolors and the works of oil painting. Thirteen newly discovered works of Brullov — the happy case, when the few notable samples, from different periods of creativity of masters from different genres,  broadly traced his whole career. However, each separate picture is one of close and anxious interes@

Despite the fact that none of the newly discovered masterpieces by Karl Pavlovich Bryullov unable to change the basic, conceptual and evaluation, rooted to "the great Karl", the significance of the introduction of these works in research and audience turnover is difficult to overestimate. Each of the presented works will certainly reveal unexpected nuance, some inexhaustible details, halftones, important for the study and assessment of creativity, personality, historical and cultural role of one of the most significant domestic zhivopistsev@
