In JJDavies Gallerie opened solo exhibition of paintings by Larisa Kosyakova.
brushwork, loving complex professional batches, and the choice of subjects can hardly talk about the work of Larissa Kosyakova as naive art. As correctly observed OV Dyakonitsyna at the opening of the exhibition, "naive" as opposed to professional artists often depict the "inner circle" or something that is directly related to their lives. Plots of Larissa Kosyakova hit breadth and diversity: here and lyrical rustic scenes, and touches the soul folk scene of tragedies such as war or Chernobyl.
Why is it that Larissa regular participant naive exhibitions, and her paintings are published in catalogs and are kept in museums as naive art? The fact is that the magic of his brush it transforms reality into "unreality." Do not use the literary mythology, it is like no other, is able to replace the banality of a fairy tale. For example, "Laura from Vladivostok" - a real character - Larissa is fantastic. Or "militia in 1941" - they do not know what war is, and is not serious smile, simply because the very young - it's unusual, but it's true. This art is true - and this is the most valuable thing that can open the viewer to the artist.
