April 26, 2013 at the International Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture Gallery "Arden" opens exhibition of contemporary Serbian artists' color of Serbia ", dedicated to the celebration of the 1150th anniversary of Slavic Literature and Culture. The exhibition is supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia to Russia, Podvorja Serbian Orthodox Church in Moscow, the Foundation "Legacy of Metropolitan Pitirim" and the Russian Academy of Arts.
The exhibition will feature more than 70 works of contemporary Serbian artists : Vladimir Manichev, Dragan Bartuly, Isidora Ivanovic, Dejan Mandeltsa, Bilany Vukovic, Sladjana Marinkovic, Ivana Nasteski and Djurovic Maya .
In October 2012, these artists in the group «Serbia in focus» took part in the 9th International Festival of Arts «Art Fest @ Doral» and «Maimi River Art Fair 2012" in Miami, Florida, USA, where more than two hundred artists from 25 countries submitted 450 works of art. The first and second prizes were awarded to Serbian artists - Vladimir Manichev and Dragan Bartule and the prize "For contribution to the promotion of art among different cultures" got Isidor I.. The works of these authors are presented in galleries in Europe and America.
Works by contemporary Serbian artists reflect both the historical community of the cultural traditions of the Slavic peoples, as well as trends in contemporary art. The exhibition brings together iconography Dejan Mandeltsa and metaphysical paintings of Vladimir Manichev, historicism Vinchanskoy culture in the works of Isidore I. and symbols of cultural heritage on canvas Dragan Bartuly.
