August Sander - the outstanding photographers of the twentieth century, has influenced several generations of artists and photographers, and went on to serve for many creative undisputed benchmark. The exhibition in the Multimedia Art Museum is about 150 pictures, of which the most famous portraits of the project "People of the twentieth century", as well as landscape and architectural photographs taken in different parts of Germany, including in the Rhineland. The exhibition was conceived by photographer Gerd Sander's grandson and co-organized by the gallery Prisca Paskver (Cologne), as well as theater photos and images of Charles Negra (Nice).

In the early twenties, August Sander communicated with representatives of the German avant-garde, in particular Otto Dix, who became one of his closest friends.
