For centuries, ways of life of the genera Pushkin and the Romanovs repeatedly intersect, weaving their intricate relationships, unexpected, sometimes quite dramatically - from the enthronement of Mikhail Romanov before marriage grandchildren Nicholas I grandchildren Pushkin.

In exhibition, which is based on the stock assembly exhibits Pushkin Museum, attended by several major museums and archives of Russia: State Archive of the Russian Federation, the State Historical Museum, the State Museum "Peterhof" State Art and Architectural Palace and Park Museum-Reserve "Tsarskoye Selo", State Museum of Urban Sculpture, Russian State Library, the Russian State Archive of Ancient Acts, Russian State Archive of Film and documentary photographs, private collectors.

first section of the exhibition, with the code name "My family tree," says the poet of the ancestors who left their mark on the history of Russia - this issue is very interested and excited by Alexander Pushkin. Original royal letters and decrees, salaries nobility, reports and other valuable documents of a bygone era with the rich portrait gallery of historical characters and objects are bright picture era of Russian history from the Time of Troubles to the heyday of the reign of Catherine II.

second part of the exhibition is devoted to the relationship of the poet and the power relations of the Pushkin with autocrats, in whose reign he lived.

Under what circumstances could meet Pushkin child with Paul I? Why Alexander I «not favor" of the young poet? What was the relationship between Pushkin and Nicholas I, who became the poet's personal censor and guardian of the family after his death? .. The exhibits will help to answer some questions and carry away an interest in new mysteries stories.

third section tells the audience about the attitude of the Romanovs to the creativity of Pushkin and the role they played in promoting the heritage of the great Russian poet. Exhibition pays special attention to the activities of the Grand Duke Konstantin Romanov, who initiated in Russia was celebrated century poet.
