Center of Photography Lumiere brothers presents an exhibition of contemporary photographer Anton Lalin, who conquered the audience with their monochrome sketches of African realities

the Center of Photography Lumiere brothers opened the exhibition of photography by Anton Lalin - author, whose works have conquered Moscow a year ago, in October of this year, have been shown in the State Russian Museum on solo exhibition.

The exhibition at the Center of Photography presents 40 monochrome photographs - only the last works of the author of the series "Portrait of Africa", on which Lyalin started working in 2006. Majestic and monumental portraits of wildlife and stunning scenery - every job is filled with its own special energy that makes the viewer stop, feel and understand the strength and wildness unshakable constancy, which is in the nature, and of which we are so often forgotten in the bustle of the fast life of the metropolis.

his inspiration as before, Lyalin found on the African continent - in the Serengeti National Park in Uganda, Volcanoes in Botswana, Kenya and South Africa. Being an observer, he skillfully chooses the angle, which gives the impression of a frightening proximity to a predator, causing the primitive thrill of a collision with a wild animal alone. Composite-tuned, skillful fixation light and shadow, the use of high dramatic sky in the background - all this characterizes the author's style photographer. No less attention is paid to the printing process. All work Lyalin performs on cotton paper, using archival pigments, to achieve a truly museum quality.

In September 2012, Palace Editions publishing house produced the first monographic album Anton Lalin "Portrait of Africa».

2010 - Finalist Hasselblad Masters in the category of Wildlife;

2011 - the first solo exhibition in the Center of Photography Lumiere brothers;

2012 - participated in the "Second Biennale of the Russian Museum" ;

2012 - personal exhibition at the Stroganov Palace of the State Russian Museum.
