Each year the Museum of Fine Arts is preparing to Yekaterinburg City Day special gift - a special exhibit together with the Russian museum. The exhibition features 60 works of original graphics, introducing the works of 25 artists.

1920s were a time of genuine flowering of graphic art. Figure secured the rights to the maximum freedom of choice of subjects, approaches, techniques and tools. This period is characterized by a variety of creative thinking, ideological outlooks, stylistic principles, even contradictory trends. The exhibition presents the work of a brilliant draftsman of different directions - from the successors of the classical tradition Boris Kustodiev Boris , George Verey , Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin and other avant-garde artists to Nathan Altman , Michael Matyushina , Ivan Puni . It was a difficult time for Russia, and the more interesting artists thinking about the beauty and happiness of man's place in the world and its destiny.
