Riccardo Murelli — one of active participants of contemporary art in Italy. In Moscow his work — paintings and graphic works of different sizes, sculptures made of steel inox and special project of Siberian larch — show vpervye@

2003 years Murelli working on a series of "Introspection". Starting from the geometric steel sculptures small and medium size, in parallel, he experimented in different techniques, including two-dimensional volume — oil painting and engraving, as well as develop their creative method in architecture, by installation in a Renaissance Palazzo in San Gemini-Terni (2007) and the building Association TRAleVOLTE in Rome (2008).

Murelli Works are not only aesthetic objects filling the environment, but also the embodiment of philosophical introspection — self-reflection, a metaphor of human experience. Paying great attention to the emotional impact of his works on the viewer, the artist examines the problem of interaction and confrontation of scales — macro and micro, nature, spaces — private and public. Sculptor and philosopher names among his first teachers of the Italian sculptor, Creator of futurism Umberto Boccioni and the Russian constructivists, the artists of the avant-garde Vladimir Tatlin Alexander Rodchenko, which allowed us to understand the importance of the interaction of the artwork with its surroundings prostranstvom@

Solo exhibition by Riccardo Murelli "Introspection", organized in Moscow in the framework of the year of Italian culture in Russia and with the support of the Italian Institute of culture  is not only a demonstration of the deep connection between the two cultures, but also the performance of contemporary artistic view, originating from the traditions of classical and avant-garde art in Italy and Russia. Specially for the exhibition, Professor of Milan University of Louis Lumer, one of the leading researchers of the interaction of art and psychology, wrote an article about the work of Riccardo Murelli@
