Yuri Kosakowski was born in 1941 year. In the 1960s, he "studied" at the Moscow polygraphic Institute, where "appeasement" head of the Department of drawing and painting of Andrey Goncharov and senior lecturer Yuri Burdzhelyana was engaged in the experimental pursuit in art. At the same time was developing his own style of playing the piano, studying at the Gnesin's College and Conservatorie@

In the early 1970s, the artist developed a new approach to painting, putting a notion of "randism": "I was roasting nuts and got distracted... they burned... as a hoarder, I thought, maybe I should draw those embers? and tried on the paper grip “the stick, the stick, ogurechik, that's out man”... then I began to think how to make him comfortable and harmonious world... put the circles at the bottom — and he stood on the ground... put the circles at the top turned out to be cloud — he felt comfortable, and I... began to think about a series of such paintings. Talent Yuri Kosovskogo versatile and universal: he is interested in not only painting, but also sculpture, architecture, literature, philosophy. He writes fairy tales, short stories, poetry, playing music, composing works for piano, improvises on given topics, and participates in musical evenings and festivals. In 2010 year he combined his free verse, written during walks around the ponds and rivers, with improvisations on the piano in the Studio. Interested in Yuri Kosakowski and science: botany, biology, physics.
