In the Pushkin Museum. A . Pushkin tonight opened an exhibition of photographs of famous Russian journalist, writer and dramatist Heinrich Borovik, who for many years was a key figure in international journalism. With his keen eye, his ability to objectively and clearly talk about events, several generations of Russian readers and viewers could learn about what is happening around the world, as society develops, the culture, how people live.

The exhibition will be shown around 100 photographs from the archives of G. Borovik, which were created by him in 1950-70 - ies. These are portraits of famous politicians, Salvador Allende and Fidel Castro, Anastas Mikoyan and Nikita Khrushchev, the writer Ernest Hemingway, as well as reportage photos showing the political developments in the United States during the Vietnam War, lives in Italy and Yugoslavia, China and Cuba, countries Latin America and Indonesia. Thanks to the works displayed at the exhibition, the Russian visitors have the opportunity to become acquainted with the works of Henry Borovik-photographer and gain time, become page of history.
