Today, 11 November at 16.00 at the State Pushkin Museum (Prechistenka, 12 /2) presents" The city talent ", dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the abolition of serfdom in Russia.

< p class = "mat1"> Exposition of a new exhibition - is a vivid account of this, and sometimes unique talents, born of a serf of the people of Russia in the eighteenth century - XIX centuries.

In a relatively small volume of the exhibition (two rooms) collected valuable exhibits that tell about life and activity of famous historical persons - artists, architects, actors, poets, born serfs, but later formed the glory and pride of the Russian culture.

unique collection of museum curiosities associated with the famous fortress theater Sheremetev represents the Moscow Museum-Estate "Ostankino". The audience sees sketches of the scenery, costumes, fancy fan of actresses, on the other side which is usually placed texts vocals, miraculously preserved collection of theatrical make-up of the XVIII century, armor hero-scale productions of famous Ostankino theater, etc.

And of course, the story of this theater would be complete without a history, which caused at one time so much noise in society - the romantic and dramatic love story of high-ranking owner of the theater, the rich Count Nikolai Sheremetev and serf actress Praskovia Zhemchugova. In this section of the exhibition - wonderful portraits of the famous couple (including brushes NI Argunova ), four miniature Sheremetyevy and their son, Dmitri, and documentary evidence of their "unequal marriage" "freestyle" on Praskovya Kovalev, the manuscript of "Life of Countess P.
