Works of William Kentridzha , with his characteristic poetic reflection of political developments and events of recent history, occupies a special place in the context of contemporary art. Referring to such grim topics like apartheid and colonialism, Kentridzh displays them in their work with a certain degree of detachment, even grotesque lyricism and self-irony. Known primarily due to its black-and-white drawings, original series "freeze frame", made charcoal, the world-renowned South African artist has also worked in etchings, collages, sculptures and performing arts, where it primarily attracts opera.

This exhibition presents five major themes, which the artist has focused over the last thirty years of his life. This is a complete collection of works Kentridzha since 1980, and to this day. The main place in the exposition is the latest product artist, like a crown signifying a dynamic panorama of the work of this great master.
